Beginning with Deux Arabesques (1888), it offers the Suite bergamasque (1890–1905), Réverie (1890), Danse (1890), Ballade (1890), Pour le piano (1896–1901), D'un cahier d'esquisses (1903), Extampes (1903), Mazurka (1891), Valse romantique (1890), Masques (1904), L'Isle joyeuse (1904), and the first series of Images (1905): Reflets dans l'eau, Hommage a Rameau, and Mouvement. In each case the music has been reproduced photographically from original or early editions. This book has been designed to be used at the piano. Noteheads are large and clearly printed: margins and spaces are adequate for written notes, fingerings, and turnovers. It is also most useful, of course, for analysis or simply for listening along with the music. Second (1974) edition. Corrected by Beveridge Webster.

I bought this book for a student of mine who enjoyed her first introduction to Debussy so much that I knew she would appreciate an entire volume of him, and I would enjoy going beyond Clair de Lune and the Arabesques. While I've only had the book for a bit over a year, it seems to be fine quality as the binding goes. The pages are plenty thick as well and the book has no problem staying open if you gently crease the pages. My student and her brother are both enjoying the decently challenging pieces in this book.Since I don't know Debussy's works well, my student and I have found a great companion to this music book to be the following little book which gives information on each of Debussy's piano pieces and stylistic advice, written by someone who knew Debussy well: The Piano Works of Claude Debussy (Dover Books on Music).

This is a fairly nice book of sheet music. I would like to note that there is no fingering included.Also, the print is a little faded in spots. It does not prevent me from reading the notes. I did buy a used book, but I think this is the printing and not the used book.

The print quality could be better but I'm still glad I bought it. It is still legible but some parts you might want to retrace in black pen. Its around 150 pages so it had more content than I anticipated so I was happy over all with the purchase. Its also a bit more advanced so this would not be a good book for beginners or those who only have a little experience playing piano.

I am a newbie learner, and have a great piano teacher that have supported my learning through working with original pieces. The fun that I am having is spurring me to collect from the of 'Greats' and their music. This is a great collection of Debussy, and the productiion is top notch, and quality is great and also the print is easy to read and well spaced. The binding is good, but I tend to convert most of these books into spiral-bound for ease of placing it on the piano. For the price, I highly recommend this edition as a collection of Debussy's music.

Debussy is definitely one of the most genius composers ever. This collection contains many of his shorter piano works and it's great to have. The print is larger so it's easy to play from. I wish it had some fingerings, but I guess you can't ask for everything.

Good price, good print, well bound, easy to turn pages, super selections including Clare de Lune and Arabesque in E Major, as well as a number of others of Debussy's best compositions for piano. I find several of these pieces to be very much appreciated as communion music.

The same Dover editions we love, but easier to carry around!

I have NOT been given any books about Pete the Cat in exchange for review, but I love the Pete the Cat series so much I wanted to write a short review anyway! My children and I LOVE the Pete the Cat series. For Book Day at school, my son dressed as Pete the Cat and brought one of his favorite Pete the Cat books with him. We have read almost every book in the Pete the Cat series and have loved every one. The stories are the perfect length for little ones and every book is a fun adventure waiting to be read. The stories are easy to read with beginner readers and have fun pictures on every page for younger siblings who can't read yet.The Pete the Cat series is often read in my eldest son's school and is loved by all his classmates and teachers alike. If you are looking for a fun series to read with your children, you can't go wrong with Pete the Cat!

I purchased these books for a 6 year old/1st grader who is a budding reader. Prior to getting this book I had already purchased 6 of this Pete the Cat: I can read series from Walmart (Pete the Cat: Sir Pete the Brave; Sir Pete the Cat: Tip Top tree house; Pete the Cat: Pete's Big Lunch; Pete the Cat: Pete's train trip; Pete the Cat: and the Surprise Teacher; Pete the Cat: Too cool for school) I wanted more so I got them from Amazon because Walmart never had any that I did not already have. The books were $3.78 at Walmart so the price on Amazon was comparable. I love the series! The words are in big print. The art work is great and the pictures assist with the helping the child figure out the words and context. Also uses the most common sight words. Most important, each book has some simple but effective message about sharing, being a good friend, overcoming your fears, or being yourself. This book is a Guided Reading Level E

I bought this cute little book for my daughter when her tooth became loose. I made a "care package" from the tooth fairy and this book was one that graced the experience. My daughter loves Pete the Cat and this book fits right in with our collection.

Not as good as the older books written by Eric L. Smaller physically and story material not as good. Try to find books from the "white shoes and groovy buttons" era. Much better.

Such a cute story and such great illustrations. Perfect for a boy who is not fond of fairies, but also so amusing, the girls will love it, too. Pete the Cat is one of our favorite children's series, and this one does not disappoint.

Super fun read for a kid that waiting for a first lost tooth. Kiddos love this series so this is a good add. Easy read for Kinder age. Not how I expected the story to go but cute nonetheless.

The tooth fairy put it under my son's pillow when he lost his first tooth. He was elated as we read it together - practice reading and celebrating a milestone!

so cute!!! bought as a gift for my vegan stoner friend. She may be vegan and she may be a stoner but she doesn't always cook w bud. And this book is perfect for that because none of the recipes require bud. It's just munchies!!! So fun. And the illustrations are too cute. Also the quality of the book, so nicely done. The book is so crisp you don't even want to open the pages all the way to keep it in that perfect condition. I had to sneak a peek before gift wrapping it. I forgot to take a photo for this review. We aren't vegan or stoner, we just love how simple and filling these meals are. My 3yo can help me make 98% of them. Best cookbook we've bought because we USE IT daily. It also has numerous recipes that satisfy my pregnancy cravings for sweet potatoes! Highly recommend to college students, couples with minimal cooking skills, and it's a great kid's first cookbook for parents who aren't prudish.

The Vegan Stoner Cookbook is a great reference when you're hungry, you haven't planned ahead, and you just want to make something delicious quickly. This is a very simple cookbook which is more of a guide to making quick delicious food than a step by step instruction cookbook. The style of writing is extremely laid back. Most of the ingredients are pre-packaged and can usually be found in your local grocery store or health food store. Each recipe gives room for the individual to tweak the flavor combination to their personal tastes. All in all, this is a great resource when you're feeling lazy in the kitchen.

A friend of mine would recommend TheVeganStoner.com to me constantly, as my boyfriend had wanted to start transitioning into a vegan lifestyle. I always checked it out and really loved how simple it was the put together a meal without feeling overwhelmed by all the new ingredients. Nooch? Never heard of it. Now? Well, let's just say we have a mason jar full of it.The book is filled with adorable doodles and the simple recipes really just make me feel at ease. I'm not a known cook; I could probably find a way to burn or ruin anything and everything. However, I made my first successful meal the first night with this book. I attempted the stroganoff recipe and well, I was pretty damn proud of myself! It was super easy and I couldn't find some of the ingredients such as seitan, so I opted for tempeh and the results were still delicious! It's super easy to find substitutions.Don't forget to check out the back of the book as they include directions on how to cook certain grains and beans. They list how to measure out what you need. They even teach you basic things like how to fry things or even how to microwave a potato. Well, this may be basic to some, but to me? Welp, it's probably the most helpful thing around.I cannot wait to try more in the book because I already know I wont be dissapointed!

This book is fabulously funny. The cartoons are adorable, and the recipies are so good. Everything is very easy, and as a new vegan this really helps me figure out what I need to build my pantry and gives me a lot of easy meal ideas.

So far I have only tried two recipes but they were soooo good. I can't wait to try all of them. They are super fast and easy to make which is perfect for dinners during the week. The two recipes I tried was the corn/potato chowder and the eggplant sandwich.

AMAZING!!!!! This cook book is perfect for a vegan in college who also enjoys some recreational use (OR NOT!!!). They have thought of everything and the pictures are adorable. I wish I could give even more than 5 stars.

This cookbook is a life changer for me as a lazy vegan. It makes simple, whole food, fun, easy, and cheap. The recipes are clear and simple, but taste like something that would be much more complicated if you were to try googling veganized recipes. And the whole food ingredients make my grocery shopping easy and affordable. Plus the variety of foods! We've been eating suppers out of this book every night since I got it, and we've never once gotten bored.And you gotta love the character in it. The accompanying cartoons and graphics are just gleeful and fun.
