This was probably my favorite book of the Mediator series so far. We finally learn exactly what happened to Jesse, and the story also touches on what happens once a spirit finally leaves the human plane of existence. Suze herself learns much more about being a mediator – how different people handle the job and what abilities come with the package. Overall, a very good addition to the series. Something we all have been waiting for to happen finally does, too! From what I can tell, a character in this book is here to stay, so I don’t believe this one can really be skipped, either. I would give this book 5 stars if it wasn’t for those pesky repetitions and overused phrases the author includes, as I’ve read 4 of these books so far in 5 days and they are really starting to annoy me =(

This book was in pretty good shape, definitely used but no obvious markings. This is an amazing book!

What can I say about it? It has JESSE DE SILVA on of the sexiest man of fiction, but besides being hot he is also all gentlamanly and well... you girls nowAs Summer job Suze is a babysitter at the Pebble Beach Hotel, her current burden a young and scared-cat boy named Jack Slater. Soon we found out why Jack is so afraid as another character comes forward Jack's older brother Paul. Then, after ex-fiancé Maria De Silva Diego, showed up to threat Suze, Jesse is suddenly gone. This book might content the answers around the mistery of Hector De Silva demise.

I read these books a few years ago from the library, When a friend picked them up at a bookstore recently, I decided to flip through them again. It wasn't long before I had to buy my own set and re-read them.Darkest Hour is my favorite in the series as it introduces some interesting new characters and serves as a pivotal turning point in Susannah's relationship with Jesse. The storyline is very intriguing, and humorous, as always. There is plenty to keep the pages turning.I recommend this series for any girl who likes her love stories a little more unconventional and less Disney. =D

This book was totaly, by far, the best book in the series. i so recommend this to everyone who is a fan. I coulndt even put it down. Suze meets another mediator, Jack. another really hot guy, Paul. And solves the mystery between jesse and his murderous ex-girlfriend. Now tell me that doesn't sound good. thats what i thought. get readin'!!! so you arent missing out. between all the excitment there is a romance. and its really gettin good!

I️ am still enjoying this series so much! Meg Cabot balances sassy and sweet in just the right way to keep the reader engaged.

This series is one of my favorites. If you like the supernatural, you're going to love Suze, who sees dead people. She also has conversations with them, and even fistfights!

Part of the best series!

Blurred Lines: Rethinking Sex, Power, and Consent on Campus, by Vanessa Grigoriadis

Review

"Blurred Lines is a meticulous and complex analysis of sexual assault." - The New Yorker “[Grigoriadis’s writing] is so vivid, you just want to keep hanging out with her on the page and listen to what she’s thinking about. But what’s most refreshing is that Grigoriadis isn’t afraid to untangle the hairball that is college sex, even though someone — whether it’s the hardcore feminists or the Men’s Rights bros — will rip apart any idea that falls outside of party lines. Yet Grigoriadis dives in because, as she says in the book, she believes that to actually understand why there are so many reports of sexual assault on campus, you have to actually, explicitly, and finally, figure out what is going on in these bedrooms, and talk it about it candidly.” –New York Magazine   “Grigoriadis [is] the ideal observer and analyst of sexual assault and consent on campus. Starting from the famous case of Columbia mattress carrier Emma Sulkowicz, she spoke to hundreds of students — victims, activists, and the accused — as well as parents and administrators, coming away with something like a clear picture of generational confusion. Avoiding both easy answers and ideological rubrics, she advocates vigilance, moderation, fairness, and good faith.” – Vulture   “Grigoriadis spent the past three years interviewing hundreds of students, student-activists, researchers, and administrators to go beyond the salacious headlines (though there are plenty of those covered in her book) and instead focus on the underlying cultural forces that not only drive sexual assault on campus but have also catapulted it into the spotlight in recent years.” – Refinery29   “An in-depth look at the new sexual revolution that’s been taking place on college campuses and the confusion surrounding it.” – New York Post   “A deep dive into the millennial generation's cultural proclivities, confusions, musical tastes and lingo (in which being "woke" represents a state of heightened consciousness and "catching feelings" is one presumably regrettable effect of casual sex)…. [Grigoriadis] points out perceptively that the bedroom is one place where today's otherwise strong, self-confident young women still too often feel pressured and unable to advocate for their own interests.” –Chicago Tribune   “Remarkable….The new sexual assault spotlight is changing our thinking about consent, blame and responsibility, a shift that shouldn’t be dismissed.” —Washington Post "Vanessa Grigoriadis... engages the complexities of sexual statistics in Blurred Lines, a richly complicated and beautifully written chronicle that offers a...nuanced and responsibly researched panorama of student life." - Jacobin Magazine   “Grigoriadis has pulled off something truly remarkable — a nuanced and deeply compassionate account of one of the most convulsive chapters in recent American culture. Blurred Lines pushes beyond the sensationalist headlines and political rhetoric to reveal the complicated stories underneath. This book has given me a whole new understanding of how we got into this mess — and how we might get out.” —Sarah Hepola, Blackout: Remembering the Things I Drank to Forget    “An essential handbook for college students who must navigate the hazards of social media, online porn, gender fluidity, and mind-altering substances while peeling the onion layers of "consent." It's also required reading for any parent of college-bound children who wants to protect them from making mistakes that can ruin their lives.”  —John Seabrook, author of The Song Machine: Inside the Hit Factory “With rigorous reporting, brilliant observations and a rare absence of bias, Grigoriadis has written a fascinating and moreover an important book about a complex, controversial phenomenon. Blurred Lines is poised to become the definitive work about sex, consent, and campus life in our era.” —Meghan Daum, author of The Unspeakable: And Other Subjects Of Discussion.   “The definitive book on contemporary campus sexual culture. With daring and elegance, Grigoriadis explores the myriad factors—alcohol, gender, privilege, hormones, and politics, to name a few—that converge in the sex lives of teenagers who are set free for the first time, Blurred Lines is a fascinating and nuanced account of what constitutes "ethical sex" for students, and the implications for the rest of us.” —Ariel Levy, author of The Rules Do Not Apply  “This important, incisive book brings clarity and a fresh perspective to an incredibly complex issue. BLURRED LINES is a must-read for anyone heading to college, anyone who has a daughter —or a son.” —Jancee Dunn, author of How to Not Hate Your Husband After Kids “In this brilliant, surprising book, a master of you-are-there reportage untangles the web of sex, power, and politics that’s fueling debates from college campuses to Capitol Hill.” —Gabriel Sherman, author of The Loudest Voice in the Room: How the Brilliant, Bombastic Roger Ailes Built Fox News “This book is important, maddening, deeply unsettling and wildly entertaining. Even, or maybe especially, if you think you already know what's happening in sexual culture, you need to read this!” —Emily Gould, author of Friendship and co-founder of Emily Books.   “Grigoriadis covers the often lecherous, always treacherous landscape of campus sex as nobody else has or could. She throws bright, fresh light on an array of collegiate characters who are sometimes appalling, sometimes appealing, and sometimes a bit of both—from Baylor's out-of-control football stars to Columbia's so-called Mattress Girl to a Syracuse student who dubs herself "Blackout Blonde". She brings rare empathy and discernment to all sides of this fray. Oh, and she writes like a dream.” —John Heilemann, co-author of Game Change and Double Down   “Grigoriadis goes gonzo on the sex- and drug-drenched world of modern campus life, navigating the war-zone politics of rape with rare courage and intelligence.” —Joe Hagan, author of Sticky Fingers: The Life and Times of Jann Wenner and Rolling Stone magazine   “The temptation is to say college was never like this in my day. But it probably was. We just didn't see it. Generations of male American students didn't see it. Vanessa Grigoriadis pulls the wool off that willful blindness in this sharp-eyed but humane disclosure of the politics of sex, and sex of politics, on campus circa today.” —Mark Jacobson, author of American Gangster

This was like attending college in one book, kinda. I don't know how the author managed to do so much in one book but BRAVO. I hope she keeps writing. Everything she is writing is SPOT ON.

This is a powerful, well written book by a New York author. I highly recommend it.

Well researched and well written book. Campus officials are getting better at handling a very serious problem that has been going on for a long time but there is still a long way to go. It is an evolving process and Grigoriadis has given us a lot to think about in her common sense and research based approach to the subject. A must read for students and parents about the hidden danger on campus and the need to look out for one another.

Accessible and clear examination of a perplexing subject, fair to all sides.

Grigoriadis is anything but "anti-man" and she takes the side of the accused in parts of the book. This is a quick read and a juicy exposé punctuated by fascinating historical tidbits about women's anti-rape activism in the '70s, the emergence of "date rape" in the '90s, and the major scandals that forced universities to get serious about campus rape in the 2000s. While it deals with a heavy topic, it's actually a fun read and doesn't leave you feeling depressed, which I was concerned about. I also really appreciated how un-preachy her conclusions are -- she genuinely is trying to figure out why campus rape numbers are so high and what schools should be doing about it.

This book is so damn entertaining on such damn hard subject. The prose is luminous yet accessible. I thought I would give this to my son who is in state in Indiana to read but I've been reading it myself every night before I go to sleep and I can't stop thinking about it.

I've written and read a lot about sexual assault, on campus and off, and I learned a lot from this book. Vanessa Grigoridias has an incredibly deft touch with the students she interviews and she's able to dig beneath the surface into all kinds of uncomfortable feelings and truths. This is a complicated and tricky topic, and this book doesn't pretend otherwise. It's a keeper.

My new hero is Karmenife Paulino. She's a sexual assault survivor profiled in "Blurred Lines" and her interviews are one of the reasons why I loved this book. Karmenife (described as "Jimi-Hendrix-meets-Rihanna") was assaulted when she was a student at Wesleyan and afterwards she got a tattoo on her calf that reads KILL YOUR LOCAL RAPIST. She tells the author a great story about an experience she had while riding the subway one time, and I"m gonna quote it cause I can't do it justice: "I was at a stop, in my shorts and Timberland boots, and this guy kept coming towards me, so I put my leg up on the seat, pointed at the tattoo, and he ran away." She's a badass, and the book is filled with women like her who survived horrible experiences and picked themselves up and refused to let it break them. Loved it.

Money and the Meaning of Life, by Jacob Needleman

From the Publisher

If we understood the true role of money in our lives, writes philosopher Jacob Needleman, we would not think simply in terms of spending it or saving it. Money exerts a deep emotional influence on who we are and what we tell ourselves we can never have. Our long unwillingness to understand the emotional and spiritual effects of money on us is at the heart of why we have come to know the price of everything, and the value of nothing. Money has everything to do with the pursuit of an idealistic life, while at the same time, it is at the root of our daily frustrations. On a social level, money has a profound impact on the price of progress. Needleman shows how money slowly began to haunt us, from the invention of coins in Biblical times (when money was created to rescue the community good, not for self gain), through its hypnotic appeal in our money-obsessed era. This is a remarkable book that combines myth and psychology, the poetry of the Sufis and the wisdom of King Solomon, along with Jacob Needleman's searching of his own soul and his culture to explain how money can become a unique means of self-knowledge. As part of the Currency paperback line, it includes a "User's Guide" an introduction and discussion guide created for the paperback by the author -- to help readers make practical use of the book's ideas.

Rarely are we so lucky as to have a philosophical exploration into the nature of money that offers insight into so much of the unseen plight of the modern person as we seek to find meaning as well as material wealth. Jacob Needleman weaves ancient tales into a modern inquiry into money as we experience it.What is money and why does it make us so crazy? Needleman's concept, drawn from the study of history, is that man has always been considered to have two natures- a lower and a higher, and that while equal, the lower must be in service of the higher. Money, he suggests, was originally a technology developed to allow the exchange of material goods in a way that humans dependence on each other and the force of life (call it God if you wish) was acknowledged. The great trouble, it was recognized, was the illusion that man could be completely independent. The ego then is the vanity that one can be completely self-sufficient, and "does not need to breathe the air of God." Money then is not evil in and of itself, but offers the ability to create a perception of reality that doesn't exist. He unpacks a rare story of King Solomon to illustrate the false I which suffers because the connection between the lower and higher natures, the paradoxical balance humans must strive for- became severed.I really love Needlemans' work because he touches frequently on "spirit," without actually implying a Christian God or any sort of New-Agey energy manifestation. He approaches from a purely philosophical perspective that points to all of the great traditions and advanced societies of the past that had first made these distinctions as central to being human. The goal of life, then being how to live well in both worlds. The problem, he says, is that these natures were split. In our religious history the higher and lower were separated, with all material things being seen as evil. In reaction perhaps, the modern world recognizes only the lower as real, which he describes as full of childish impulses of the body.He also points out that many of our so-called material desires are manufactured for us, and do not stem from our actual, real desires for goods or services. "Perhaps we do not focus on things enough," he says. Suggesting that the we've lost our perception of what we actually want. "We live in an outer world that is masquerading as the inner world."The thesis of the book is then that money itself is not evil, nor any of the things it buys, but the use of money without higher directing forces leads us to a loss of consciousness of our interior worlds. Older civilizations would put sacred symbols on one side of their coins, and a material one on the other to remind people of the sacred nature of transaction."At the core of all religious teachings, man is two-natured. Human life has meaning only insofar as we consciously and intentionally occupy two worlds at the same time. One force alone can never bring meaning into human life. Meaning appears only in the place between the worlds, in the relationship of two worlds, two levels, two fundamental qualities of power and energy.Money is now, at this period of civilization, the chief representative of one of these fundamental worlds. That is its extraordinary, immense significance. We must understand it and respect it for that. THis "lower" world of money is not evil. for us, as beings build to live consciously in two worlds, real evil consists solely of those factors in ourselves that prevent conscious awareness of both the inner and the other world. It is not money itself which obstructs this awareness." -Jacob NeedlemanFor anyone with a philosophical streak, this book offers excellent insight into the deeper nature of what money is, and has historically represented. I found the concept quite healing. Having grown up inside a society where money is not questioned or examined I had long felt something was off about the way we talked about. This put money in perspective and restored the concept of balance between the inner and outer worlds, the higher and the lower.Needleman also points out something else that had long been feeling off to me- historically, cultures organized their practices to promote a sense of serving or striving towards an inner ideal while living in the outer world, but no more. In our day this translates into businesses divorced from actually providing beneficial services to people, or separated from the relationship to the source of the goods. "Not needing to breathe God's air."The illusion of separation and the lack of need to be of service allows the ego, the false sense of I that is completely self-sufficient, to be the dominating force of business and monetary transactions.Restoring our sense of relationship, and the living experience of having a higher, inner nature to serve and become increasingly conscious of, it key to fixing the relationship we have with money.

Maybe the most important and enlightening books I have ever read. Glad I found it!

This book was an enjoyable exploration of what money means to us and what it stands for...and why it has fallen into the cultural shadow. The author makes a convincing explanation for the numinous power of wealth, a power partly due to the fact that two thousand years of Christianity turned away from matter and the body, which have now had their revenge via the symbol of the almighty dollar, America's real religion.I almost gave this book a 3 because 1. it has no index, and I hate that; and 2. no effort was made to edit out gender-biased language ("man," "the nature of man," etc.). Oh, and 3. the publisher needs to spend more on the paper: it's no good for penciling notes on.I'm not certain that the question of the integrity of one's work comes down to the quality of one's attention, as the author seems to maintain. The dilemma, say, of a scientist who designs nuclear weapons and then realizes one day--perhaps when jobs are scarce--that the work is eating up his soul even though it supports his family becomes a real dilemma, not only a problem of the ego that vanishes in the light of understanding. Doing a job he feels to be evil consciously doesn't make it any less evil to him; and consciously quitting and letting his family starve while he looks for work hugely impacts them. In fact, it's his heightened awareness and its unwillingness to "turn away from truth" that deprives him of his ability to feel good about his integrity no matter what he decides.Needleman is right, though, that we must make peace with our relationship with money if we're to heal the split between our physical requirements and our thirst for meaning. To do that we need more, not less, "materialism," a more conscious probing into matter, the body, the things of the world, which today's electronicized economics have gone far toward dematerializing. The book reminds me a bit of a quotation by Walter Kaufmann, who wrote about Shakespeare's solution to the dilemma of vocation vs. occupation (remember that, like Beethoven, the world's pre-eminent playwright was also an efficient businessman):It has almost become a commonplace that the modern artisthas lost contact with his audience and that the public nolonger supports him as in previous ages...Shakespeare cameto terms with the obtuseness of his public: he gave his pearlsa slight odor of the sty before he cast them. Far from cheap-ening his art, he turned the challenge of a boorish, lecherous, and vulgar audience to advantage and increased the richnessand the subtlety of tragedy so vastly that age cannot wither it,nor custom stale its infinite variety. -- Kaufmann, FROM SHAKESPEARE TO EXISTENTIALISM

As a spiritual healer I have been recommending this book to clients for about ten years. The differences in their lives and their attitude to money have been simply amazing. Most of them have reported that they couldn't read this book quickly; their head would spin and they'd have to put the book down for several days while they thought about what they'd read. Soon after reading this book they began to make better choices in jobs and investments. It's not a logical change, it's a perception shift. Sometimes a book isn't just a book...sometimes it's a portal.

Thought provoking presentation on the history and impact of money in our lives.

Written in an easy to understand style, like sitting in on the class. Rich and wonderfully thought provoking with a diversity of sources it seem almost beyond the ability of one person to gather in a lifetime. One of the most important books I have read!

Insightful, amusing and very well researched. Gives a completely new perspective on the origins and place that money occupies in our lives and how this has changed over the centuries.

Hal Brand’s “American Grand Strategy in the Age of Trump” grappled with the implications of Post WWII grand strategy and its’ permanent role in American global influence. This up-to-date narrative presented an analysis of what grand strategy was, how it was implemented, and its’ future. While this topic had no perfect answer, Brands successfully used each chapter to address both sides of the ongoing “Push Forward, Pull Back ” (Barry Posen, Pull Back) debate. Brands ultimately concluded that “grand strategy” had a net positive impact on the world and the U.S., therefore, the implementation of grand strategy must continue regardless of short-term drawbacks. In chapter one, Brands pointed out that the United States’ use of military and diplomacy formed a global co-op unmatched in previous times. Using this evidence, Brands argued that it was in the U.S. and the world’s best interest to continue grand strategy regardless of proposed alternatives because this model is so highly effective. Why would one fix something that isn’t broken? Chapter two presented the aforesaid alternatives, most prominently offshore balancing. This method promoted the use of soft power to govern rather than hard power. He let the readers probe the costs and benefits of decreasing military involvement in the world. He pointed out that monetary costs would be greatly reduced, and high-conflict areas (such as the Middle East) might become less agitated if the military gave some space for autonomy. However, he later refuted offshore balancing by stating that offshore balancing’s benefits are sorely overstated. He claimed there was no guarantee that relations in the Middle East would improve. In fact, withdrawing forces might compromise American security.Chapter three outlined President Obama’s weak military efforts and the repercussions of his military withdrawals. All this, he claimed, was due to Obama “overlearning” from the mistakes of President Bush. Due to the nature Brands’s writing (he compiled things previously written, and organized them into chapters) this chapter was unnecessarily lengthy. His argument, instead of expounded upon, was rehashed in a way that was difficult to continue reading. Regardless of my opinion, learning of the Obama administration gave crucial background to the conditions of grand strategy previous to the Trump election. In chapter four, Brands provided two analysis of how Trump’s election in affected the well-being of internationalism. In his first argument, he stated that the Trump election was an anomaly due to the historical unpopularity of both candidates. In his other argument, he claimed that Americans have forgotten why grand strategy was erected. With the inauguration of Trump, he claimed that Americans have sentenced Post-World War II agendas to the gallows, unless American internationalism could subject itself to an overhaul.Chapter five suggested two ways in which American internationalism could transform. First, the Trumpian “Fortress America”: a new isolationism that benefitted America, and America alone. Second, a more cooperative America. One that would work with its’ allies to distribute the work load and make better trade deals. Even with these proposed changes Brands felt the need to address what to do with the military.Chapter six presented 4 solutions to the United States’ crumbling military influence and credibility. First, he proposed that the US should invest in a 20-year overhaul of our military that could match the United States’ bark with its’ bite. The second proposed that withdrawal from the Baltic States and the Middle East could easily balance our commitments with our military force. The third method? Bluffing. He said that the United States rely on its’ reputation: No country would dare challenge a back to back World War champion. Finally, the United States could employ Cold War strategy and use nuclear threats to enforce their commitments. With each of these strategies came major pullbacks (especially nuclear warfare), however the most critical part of his argument is what he did not say—covertly stated, increasing defense spending has the least number of foreseeable drawbacks. His final chapter trumpeted that Trump was not as radical as his campaign may have implied, but he managed to reshape parts of US strategy that were fundamental to the success of the United States through his initiatives, rhetoric, and mannerisms.Hal Brands’ engaging read took head on the concerns of many about American grand strategy. While some of his material may have been redundant, he provides a comprehensive and multisided narrative about grand strategy. This is a must-read for any person who hopes that “The American public as a whole still thinks that the United States is the greatest and most influential country in the world, and bipartisan support remains strong for the country to take an active part in world affairs.” (p 88)

Mr. Brands is specializing in a subject that is ill-defined, not openly or fully disclosed by its practitioners, and that changes not just every four years, but with "the vicissitudes of global and domestic politics."Want a definition of "grand strategy"? Look on page 51, where it is finally outlined--in a vague, fuzzy manner that makes you suspect that "there's no 'there' there--but there's plenty for a Beltway guy, and Johns Hopkins prof, to grind out 223 pages of slippery text with sometimes-recursive notes (he quotes his own previous book on grand strategy in explaining why grand strategy is 'no panacea')--text that is speculative and inevitably lacking in specifics, since Mr. Trump is a constantly moving target. That's not the professor's fault at all, of course, and he gets full marks for embarking on his "project," although that is a fool's errand: It's just not possible to publish a book-length essay of this sort that wouldn't be outdated before being trucked out of the printer's back shop.Mr. Brands does do some editorializing, though, in a way that I'm sure is closely aligned with the neoliberal Brookings agenda (and I will say with regret that I once considered Brookings an even-handed, centrist think tank, but they have truly become a conservative voice in recent years, and I no longer trust or respect their work). An example of Prof. Brands' editorializing is in the conclusion to the chapter with the rhetorical question: "Does America Have Enough Hard Power?" Unsurprisingly, his answer is a sobering "No!", and that "the best approach is to find the resources necessary to bring American forces back into line with the grand strategy they were meant to support."Sharp-eyed and quick-witted readers will note that there IS no "grand strategy" fully and reliably outlined in the book--and by definition, discerning Mr. Trump's G/S is like finding an ant's foot on a black rock on a moonless night--but, we are assured by the Distinguished Professor of Global Affairs, the U.S. needs to gear up militarily for a muscular global role that this quixotic, isolationist, and resolutely nationalist president must have in mind, however fleetingly.

Good Book

The title alone should warn you off- the idea that the US has a "grand" strategy is belied by the dark, ill informed, ad hoc nature of American foreign policy post WW2- this is neocon baloney to be avoided.

Great little book if you are looking for a few easy hikes. Not heavy so it's easy to pack. Most hikes are 4m or less round trip. Some are as little as 1.5m

My family and I used several of the hikes in this book on our trip to Yellowstone this summer. We are not an "active" family so the "easy" part of the day hikes were very appealing. The author outlines some very fun hikes and short trails that lead to truly breathtaking scenery. It was a great asset in planning our trip as well as a handy trail guide once we were at the park. The hikes are rated by difficulty level and length and are divided by sections of the park for easy planning and reference.

Using it to plan our trip and so far it has been a good little planner for easy hikes. Maybe I can give it 5 stars after we use it on our upcoming trip.

best book ever if you're planning a trip to Yellowstone (especially with kids). there are a variety of hikes here from all around the park (don't let the "easy" in the title fool you). So bummed it's not in print anymore. Snap up the used copies!

This is not quite the same as the more resent addition that I had seen. I thought an older addition would be fine but the maps were terrible and it did not have the estimated hike times. I would suggest the more resent, it's worth the extra money for the maps.

Great info

CAUTION! The maps in this book are terrible! You can almost read them in some areas but many spots are too dark gray to be legible. The maps look like a bad black and white photo copy of a good color coded National Geographic map. The book's maps loose information because of the colored background in the original map.We went on a trail walk (to fairy falls in Yellowstone) using only this book. We walked for about 1 hour then came to a junction in the trail which we couldn't figure out. As we were looking at the book another family came along and showed us they had the same book. We both were lost! After a while using another map they had we came to the conclusion that were were about 5 miles from were we wanted to be. So we laughed and started heading back to the car.On our way back we ran into another family using this same book heading for the same place. Obviously it was not just one's person's interpretation of the book.I'm disappointed that we wasted about 2 1/2 hours but more importantly, it could have been dangerous had any of these families continued on their path using this book!

This is the perfect book if you are new to Yellowstone and looking for a guide on what hikes to take the family on. Accurate reviews of the hikes with good directions and maps.A must have.I personally have over 125 days in the park and I found the book very helpfull in planning family hikes.
